St James Chrismas Bazaar 2012

The St. James the Great Christmas Bazaar now on its 21st year will be held for three (3) days with FREE ENTRANCE. It is the biggest in the South of Manila with more than 500 concessionaires. The variety of products to choose from is so enormous that one’s Christmas shopping list will surely be filled up.



“The early bird catches the worm”, as the saying goes, so we enjoin all the shopaholics out there to come early to be able to grab the fabulous products on sale.

This annual extravaganza is transformed into a virtual Shoppers Paradise for all discriminating shoppers. Products range from holiday foods for gift giving, Christmas décor, beautifully crafted home décor, wrought iron, native and imported bags, toys, shoes, Filipino ethnic products & handicrafts, Christmas packaging and wrappers, decorative candles, paintings, silver jewelry, over-runs of men’s, ladies and children’s clothes, accessories, sculptures and many more.



It is a conglomeration of manufacturers, exporters, importers and traders from all over the Philippines like Cebu, Boracay, Romblon, Bicol, Iloilo, Baguio, Pampanga, Quezon, Bulacan, Laguna and Batangas.

The Food Pavilion has the participation of well-known eateries such as Las Paellas, Tapa King, Brothers Burger, Fish & Co., Army Navy, Amici, Ineng’s Special Bbq, Ellies Roasted Calf, Coolman Halo-Halo, Taters, Odd Balls, Cheesesteak Shop, Potato Corner and several others. Bibingkinitan is a sponsor. Official drinks are Coca Cola and Viva Water.

Proceeds of this bazaar will be for the benefit of St. James Foundation.

Through the years, 100% of the proceeds of the bazaar helped in the following:

1. The construction of the St. James the Great Parish Church from 1991 to 1993.

2. The purchase of the St. James Parking Lot (Cuenca St. Cor. Nasugbu St.) which is now being used as one of the venues of the bazaar.

3. Installation of the Airconditioning System of the Main Church.

4. Build the St. James Parish Rectory Annex for the use of the Parish Priest and the St. James employees quarters.

5. Repairs and maintenance of all Parish structures.

The Chairpersons for this event are the mother-daughter team of Mimi and Nikki Valerio. Committee members are Manny Gonzales – President of St. James Foundation, Edza Gonzales, Titang Montinola, Msgr. Albert Venus, Parish Priest.

St. James Bazaar Committee members do not receive salaries or commissions from the proceeds of the bazaar. They organize and run the bazaar as their apostolate to St. James the Great Parish.

The highlight of the bazaar will be a grand raffle with TVs, DVD players, Washing Machine, Spin Dryer, Microwave Oven and other valuable items as prizes.

All Mastercard & Visa credit cards will be accepted. ATM machines & Mobile ATM will be available to service the shoppers.

Free Shuttle Service will be provided for all the shoppers from the bazaar venue to their parked cars.
