Sophie Albert and Vin Abrenica were announced as the grand winner of TV 5 artista search, Artista Academy, held live last October 27, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The two winners who declared as Best Actor and Best Actress bested kihiro Blanco, Chanel Morales, Mark Neumann and Shaira Mae.
Vin and Sophie each received a trophy, 1 million pesos, a condominium unit at Lakefront in Sucat, Toyota Innova and an exclusive TV5 contract with a minimum guarantee of P5 million.
Artista Academy judges throughout the competition were Mac Alejandre, Gelli de Belen, Lorna Tolentino and Wilma Galvante.
Sophie and Vin also became the Close Up ambassadors.
